Your Waiting Season Is Not Wasted

Encouragement for those trusting God through the perfecting.

Waiting is one of the places where God does some of His deepest work.

Many times we look at waiting as a delay, but Heaven often sees it as preparation. What feels like nothing is moving may actually be the place where God is strengthening your faith, shaping your character, and preparing you for what He has promised.

A waiting season does not mean God has forgotten you.

A seed buried in the ground may look hidden, but underneath the surface something powerful is taking place. Roots are growing before the fruit is ever seen.

The same is true with us.

Before God releases certain things into our hands, He first does a work within our hearts.

The Bible says:

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles...”
— Isaiah 40:31

Waiting on God is not empty time. It is a place of renewal, surrender, and trust.

Sometimes God will use the waiting season to teach us patience. Sometimes He uses it to remove what cannot go with us into the next season. Sometimes He is preparing the blessing, but He is also preparing us to carry it well.

Do not compare your timing to someone else’s journey.

The same God who opened doors for others has not forgotten the promises He spoke concerning you.

Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep obeying.
Keep trusting.

Even when you cannot see His hand moving, you can trust His heart.

God is not only concerned about getting you to the promise He cares about who you become on the journey.

The waiting season is not punishment.
The waiting season is not rejection.
The waiting season is not wasted.

God is working behind the scenes.

At the appointed time, what He has prepared will come forth.

Trust Him in the waiting.
