Return To Your First Love

A call back to intimacy, prayer, holiness, and relationship with Christ.

There is a place in God where our hearts were created to remain a place of intimacy, surrender, and devotion.

Before the distractions.
Before the worries.
Before the responsibilities became louder than His voice.

A place where loving Him was not just something we said, but the very center of our lives.

In Revelation 2:4-5 Jesus said:

“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent…”

This was not just correction it was a call back.

The heart of the Father has always desired relationship. He does not only want our works, our gifts, or our service. He desires our hearts.

Sometimes we can become so busy doing things for God that we forget to simply be with God.

We can know the songs.
We can know the scriptures.
We can know how to serve.

But the greatest thing we can ever carry is a heart that truly loves Him.

Returning to your first love is returning to the place where His presence matters more than anything else. It is laying down anything that has taken His place and saying:

“Father, I want You more.”

More than success.
More than recognition.
More than comfort.
More than my own plans.

I want Your heart.

The beautiful thing about God is that He does not close the door when we return. Like the father who saw the prodigal son coming home, He welcomes the surrendered heart.

Today is an invitation.

Come back to prayer.
Come back to worship.
Come back to His Word.
Come back to the quiet place where you first fell in love with Him.

He is still waiting.
He is still calling.
His arms are still open.
